About Me
Hi my name is Jackie Surtees.
I have many interests ,and hobbies in my life, and was aptly nick named by my family as
"Jack of all trades".
Many of my friends know little about me , and of my many interests ,as I am quite a private person.
But in my life I have been self employed in soft furnishings, a farmer, a youth worker, an Indian cuisine chef, an Au pair, also a Decorator.
I am also an artist, Drawing is one of my many hobbies.
I have been a Reborn doll artist since Sep 2002,which is when I was captivated by these realistic baby dolls.
I also enjoy crocheting and sewing baby ,and baby doll cloths & bedding ect, hence the reason for setting up my site here.
I am also a graphics designer, which I love with a passion, and love designing websites ,such as my boutique site here.

I was born and bred , and still reside in the North East of England,in a city called Sunderland, in the UK,which is now classed as a tourist spot.
I have two fantastic children ,my daughter Cara ,and my son Nathan, both teenagers, and keep me very busy, along with my Yorkshire Terrier dog Pip.
I am the founder of ERA, Exceptional Reborn Artistry guild ,
which was launched in June 2005,and currently has over 200 members, and is growing weekly.
There is where I became friends with Pat Secrists ,of Secrist Doll Company, and was asked if I would like to be his resource person, which I excepted gratefully.
I have made a whole load of fantastic friends over at ERA, many who have been there for me through good and bad times, and feel blessed to have met them all.
